sweeping your value from under my bed

i have been seeing a lot of things differently lately, and my eyes were open to yet another truth today...mahn i love change. i was picking up my brother from school and i was driving my mom's car, she had a cd sermon by joyce meyer playing and it really caught my attention. value. how do we treat the things that we value? do we throw our precious belongs discardedly around, or do we hold them as precious and special?

how do we treat those around us that we say we supposedly value?
wow! that one hit me real hard.

it made me think.... real hard..how do i treat people around me? i am a natural encourager, and i love to make people feel good, but i have my off days and when i am nasty i can be really nasty.....sigh.....not acceptable.
it's so easy for me to make other people feel good, but i have moments when i am rude and disrespectful to my parents, whom i say i value...i tell my siblings they are annoying, but i lift up other people's siblings....not acceptable... we say it all the time...actions speak louder than words....but how diligent are we in living that?

the fact of the matter is, i should really treat everyone as valuable, because life is valuable. God values life, he loves unconditionally, and really so should i, regardless if i am having an off day or not, no one should feel less than what they are because someone pee'd in my cereal.

sooo...here goes my accountablitly to truth....i will try to...scratch that....i WILL treat everyone as valuable, poor or rich, pretty or ugly, nice or rude, family or strangers, they will be treated with grace, and love.

yup....here goes.

i think so too..it may be harder than it seems, but change is there to challenge, and lately i've been feeling very challenged.
